Palmitoylated Protein Network
Analysis Guide
What You Can Do
- Discover Partners: Find protein interaction partners with significant associations
- Visualize Network: Interactive network graph with color-coded relationships
- Multi-level Analysis: Analyze both direct and indirect interactions
- Relationship Types: Differentiate between co-occurrence and mutual exclusion
Analysis Features
- Statistical Analysis: P-value, FDR-corrected P-value
- Jaccard Index: Jaccard similarity coefficient
- Relationship Assessment: Based on corrected P-value and Jaccard
- Network Visualization: Interactive color-coded graph
Relationship & Confidence Criteria:
• Co-occurrence: FDR < 0.05, OR > 1.
- Strong: Jaccard ≥ 0.6
- Moderate: 0.3 ≤ Jaccard < 0.6
- Weak: Jaccard < 0.3
• Mutual-exclusion: FDR < 0.05, OR < 1 (no intensity subdivision)
• Independent: FDR ≥ 0.05 or OR = 1
• Confidence: High (FDR < 0.01), Medium (FDR < 0.05)
• Note: Only significant relationships (non-Independent) are displayed in network graph.
